Willing suspension of disbelief –
\nhow useful to have jargon at hand when age creeps.
\nThose numbers, no! It\u2019s just accounting
\nof yesterday and tomorrow, for today\u2019s
\nmoment is out of time.<\/p>\n

Enchantment has long been
\none of my cards.
\nWhy not ride the foam of my origin and creation?
\nFor giddiness only. I sprang from no
\none’s head – I live in deep appreciation
\nof my now-gone mother.<\/p>\n

As for my play with numbers,
\ngood fiction always tells prismatic truth.
\nHoist away, let\u2019s lift a glass of something
\nbubbly and toast the fine new year.<\/p>\n
