{"id":3271,"date":"2024-03-03T20:58:54","date_gmt":"2024-03-03T20:58:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.jillpearlman.com\/?p=3271"},"modified":"2024-03-03T21:01:33","modified_gmt":"2024-03-03T21:01:33","slug":"the-dirty-socks-part-of-march","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.jillpearlman.com\/?p=3271","title":{"rendered":"The Dirty Socks Part of March"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.jillpearlman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/spring-shave.heic\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.jillpearlman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/spring-shave.heic\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3273\" style=\"width:334px;height:auto\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve entered the dirty socks part of March, the dingy linen stained grunge metal time when winter\u2019s rough hide pokes up in earth\u2019s skin.&nbsp;&nbsp;It\u2019s the shoulder season &#8211; not white shoulder, not tanned shoulder \u2013 the prickly wan unexercised but already slapped into a strapless dress season.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can see it in the raw mud and thawing wood planks, the expanding pot holes.
