I wish I\u2019d said that!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">R: I\u2019m thinking about the word&nbsp;<em>polyphony.&nbsp;<\/em>You use words that start with \u201cpoly\u201d often.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A My neighbor has a booming voice, and my windows are open.&nbsp;&nbsp;Her name is Polly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">R: Right, no A\/C.&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>Polyphony.&nbsp;<\/em>I keep tripping over my tongue. A rolly poly word.&nbsp;&nbsp;It seems to move a lot.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A: That\u2019s its charm!&nbsp;&nbsp;There is no one way to nail it down.&nbsp;&nbsp;It\u2019s defined by what it\u2019s not \u2013 one thing.&nbsp;&nbsp;Much or many, from the Greek.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">R: Say it again!  First a dog was barking, now someone\u2019s blaring \u201cIn-A-Gadda-Da-Vida.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A: What beautiful, understandable nonsense.\u00a0\u00a0Qua language.\u00a0\u00a0So polyvocal.
