For all the floors\u00a0<br \/>she stands on \u2013 wood, marble, slate \u2013 a thick sole\u00a0<br \/>provides resistance. The man without his arms\u00a0<br \/>was still grinding.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The artist said she wants to create a better world.\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>I rolled a scene where I gave her my shoes; only I<br \/>was the hero. Instead, I smiled; she smiled.\u00a0<br \/>Survival of the human face.
